About This Spot

Stepping into Two Chicks in downtown Reno is like arriving at a lively gathering spot where the warmth of friendly faces meets the inviting hum of a well-loved brunch nook. The pace here is comfortably energetic—busy enough to feel spirited but never rushed, with a crowd that spills from the cozy interior out to the bar where guests can sip while waiting. It’s the kind of place where the chatter, clinking glasses, and occasional laughter come together into a welcoming backdrop that invites you to settle in and savor your moment.

At its heart, Two Chicks feels like a neighborhood favorite with a twist—offering a menu that boldly strays from the usual, embracing a distinctive style of honest, hearty American breakfast and brunch fare. There’s a clear passion behind their creative dishes, whether it’s a skillet brimming with fresh vegetables and vibrant spices or a carefully crafted breakfast burrito that carries just the right kick. The kitchen’s focus on flavors that stand on their own means you get an experience that’s thoughtfully curated rather than a customizable assembly line, inviting you to appreciate each plate as it’s meant to be enjoyed.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere carries a sense of genuine connection. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness add a human touch, making you feel seen in a way that casual eateries often strive for but rarely capture. There’s a subtle rhythm here—a balance between the bustle of a popular brunch destination and the comfort of familiar faces—making it a spot that feels both spontaneous and dependable for those looking to fill their morning or midday with something satisfying and real.

Whether you’re sliding into a seat at the bar or gathering around a table with friends, the space encourages slow, joyful discovery of tastes and textures, paired with thoughtfully crafted drinks that enhance the experience without overwhelming it. It’s a place that invites you to linger, to explore its unique take on the classics, and to share in those small human moments that make every outing feel like a worthwhile celebration of community and flavor.

Two Chicks is a fun place to stop and grab either breakfast or lunch in Reno. They have a good selection of food to choose from. However they are particular in what they offer and you simply just eat it their way, which is odd. It’s hard to get anything customized the way you want it. The staff was quite friendly and did a great job of waiting on my table. Be warned the DO NOT HAVE RANCH or FRY SAUCE here. Haha. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.

A great place for brunch in Reno. The best poutine I've ever had outside of Canada. There's a wait to get seated for brunch, but it's worth it and they have a bar outside for you to grab a drink while you wait. The chilaquiles are just ok though.

Went there on a Sunday. It seemed busy but they got us in right away and sat us at the bar rail. The bartender was super nice & very helpful. I ordered a mimosa which was delicious. I also ordered a caprese sandwich with Parmesan garlic fries and both were so amazing! I would go back tomorrow if it were close by but we are 2.5 hours away. Service was super fast. The manager was even walking around helping fill waters. Everything was great!

What a great little find here in Reno, NV. Front desk of our hotel recommended this place, we were not disappointed! Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. This breakfast will definitely fill you up.

Two Chicks was a perfect stop for brunch on me and my girlfriend’s road trip. The staff were quite friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. They had some really unique food and beverage options that were really good. Definitely be sure to ask the server about some of their menu options that they’d recommend. If you want a hearty brunch in Reno, this spot is a great option.

This place was very busy when we arrived, but we were able to sit at the bar area, and we got right in. The food was good. The over-medium eggs were definitely a little on a runny side and the sweet potatoes home fries were really good, but there were about 40% onions in the potatoes. The service was really good. I would absolutely go back and order the home fries with no onions, if that is an option. We will definitely go back here on our next trip to Reno.

This is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I loved the white, sweet potato, with bell pepper and onions, my bacon was cooked exactly like I asked a little crispy. They have different flavored mimosas and breakfast drinks ! Service was fast, the waiters and waitresses continue to check on me and make sure my meal was good. They were very attentive! There was a little bit of a wait for a table, so I just set up at the bar, which was fabulous! I got to watch the cooks cook and I was amazed with one cook was so good. I definitely recommend breakfast here at two chicks.!

I did some research after waking up in the morning for a good breakfast spot nearby me and this place popped up, I told myself I have to give it a try and to see is it good or just hype. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. I then got seated and was greeted by their friendly staffs. They have a drink menu that consists of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their main menu includes breakfast, skillets, omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, salads, a kid’s menu and much more. I just went with the breakfast since I was craving for it. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a pleasant one. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, if you are looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other options they have to offer.
